Alpine Sky Golden Retrievers is a small family-oriented breeder positioned in Raleigh, NC. Our passion for English Cream Golden Retrievers began having an earnest look for a great pet dog. We needed your dog which was kid-friendly and trainable, having a calm, gentle temperament so we began searching for breeds which had characteristics compatible with our lifestyle.
Because we like hiking, lake and beach time, we would have liked your pet dog that loved water and workout. It was also key how the dog not a barker since we home based. After much research, we concluded on the English Cream Golden Retrievers, which has been the right fit for us.
We sought out months for a quality male from a responsible small family breeder, and lastly found him. In 2008, we fell completely in love with our first boy, Kozmo, along with his gentle, sweet nature and happy go lucky attitude. He loves everyone, especially children, and now we were immediately enthusiastic about the breed. We added Holly to the family and, in 2014, our extended dog family did start to form with your first litter going to carefully selected friends and neighbors.
After witnessing the enrichment of countless lives, we had arrived motivated to continue sharing our special dogs with increased families plus the broader community.
Leveraging their gentle and sweet temperaments, we began certifying each of our own dogs as Therapy Dogs. It’s been a rewarding experience for family, the dogs, and also the individuals finding the comfort and joy our dogs present to everyone.
We continue our concentrate on dogs best-suited to get loving family and hopefully future therapy dogs.
