Electronic music history pre-dates the rock and roll era by decades. The majority of us weren’t even on earth if this began its often obscure, under-appreciated and misunderstood development. Today, this ‘other worldly’ body of sound which began close to century ago, won’ longer appear strange as well as as new generations have accepted a lot of it as mainstream, however it is were built with a bumpy road and, in locating mass audience acceptance, a sluggish one.
Many musicians – present day advocates of electronic music – developed a passion for analogue synthesizers in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s with signature songs like Gary Numan’s breakthrough, ‘Are Friends Electric?’. Abris Music has diversified beyond a regular electronic record label model. We now have successfully expanded into streaming services, with Abris residencies and internet-based radio around the globe. Now, Abris Music looks for the future by embracing its heritage. Using a strong musical vision, tight artist roster, and a break through, we begin visit new galactics – and that we desire to share it along with you.
