I wished to share this within a blog since it is so that very odd doing this things happened using this type of painting and frame.
In 2008 Used to a painting simply just recently removed it through the stretcher bars. The painting was a strange size, and the stretcher bar frame just sat off and away to the medial side inside the studio. A month ago, I had a graphic i desired to paint, because I was thinking of life’s difficulties and incapable of overcome. The style was of a mountain, once we are decreasing in the top. I knew I needed it larger and not perfectly square. The 26″ x 32″ stretcher bar frame was very successful. I really designed a canvas. I knew ahead of time the painting would certainly be called “These Mountains We Climb”.
I only agreed to be one or two hours involved with it around the first day. The second day, I took the painting beside me on the beach and been able to loose the photo reference. I needed to finish the painting from memory. It absolutely was some epic struggle in memory!
We happened to be discussing frames this also one inch particular that people had just acquired came to mind. I ran down to the frame shop and LO! it fit! how much of an odd size!
But here’s the location where the story gets interesting, the frame originated in Christies ah. About the botton with the frame was a brass label. It had, alternatives framed a painting by Frederic Remington, called “The Way Down” and featured a string of pack mules descending a mountain side.
Sound strange!?
1. The Classical impressionist artist I’d completed in the initial 26″ x 32″ stretcher bars was called “Inspiration”, but was later removed plus they sat, awaiting new life, on along side it in my studio.
2. “These Mountains We Climb” is a painting about our battles in life, your way with the shadows and mountain highs. That has been a bit element of the painting itself- having lost the reference!
3. It happened to fit the frame that individuals became of have down from the frame shop.
4. The Remington painting were regarding the decent down a mountain side, wherein the title might be taken many different ways. Which coincided with mine, though we hadn’t arrive at my knowledge until as soon as the painting was completed and framed.
Sometimes it feels like either the “stars align” or that for reasons unknown, this frame was intended for this painting. Why?! We’ve no clue!! But there it really is! Incidentally, the label is linked to the back with the painting and you will be sold with the painting. Things don’t really ever happen this way- fun stuff!
