Training In Miracles (ACIM) teaches us that Facts are inside the mind. Yet there is a belief system that creates deception, scenario of unawareness, which obscures the attention of truth. We have an opportunity, within a deeply meaningful way, to come together and appear calmly with the obstacles to Love and get the Spirit to bring illumination. Your head which perceives itself as existing within a world of duality always operates from your dualistic belief system. Continually questioning this dualistic belief method is often regarded as unsettling and overwhelming; yet this questioning is essential if one is to realize a consistent condition of peace.
There’s one Spirit, but there look like many thoughts, emotions, and perceptions that conceal understanding of Spirit. These are all temptations to forget Self and God. If faith emerged to these illusions, there isnrrrt willingness to question the actual false belief at the root of all misperception. You must keep in mind the trap of assuming that one’s happiness, peace of mind, and salvation are somewhere off in the future. The linear (past- future) idea of time is part of the dualistic belief system that must be questioned. There’s great joy and contentment from the experience with NOW. God isn’t holding out upon us or dangling a carrot of eternal peace before us, saying “Here’s Enlightenment, keep reaching . . .OOPS, you missed again.” Because of this Course In Miracles look for Enlightenment is right here, right this moment, for your mind that is ready, open, and happy to recognize it.
