“Tough tap water is arrested for a higher amount of dissolved vitamins and minerals,” affirms Julie Russak, MD, of Russak Dermatology Clinic in NYC. “This can change the protecting obstacle on the skin as well as deteriorate it, making skin area weak and vulnerable to environment damage and pollution.”
