Your head of prestigious girls’ school Penrhos has revealed to folks her decision to permit a sex offender live in her home after his release from jail.
Principal Meg Melville said in the email to everyone parents on Sunday which a relative released on parole in August after a sentence for “serious sexual crimes committed against children” was living at her western suburbs home until he was in a position to live independently.
Late yesterday, the faculty council issued a statement saying Mrs Melville would take immediate annual leave until alternative accommodation is discovered to be with her relative.
