2016 Xmas Rock n Roll song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A new 2016 Xmas rock n roll track has been written, created and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main goal of bringing attention and exposure for the Phuket charity and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day web site .

The tunes name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks sound is a special up-tempo rock n roll track. Mark wrote and semi recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo song since then waiting for the possibility to record once again. In August 2016 Mark began the studio recording process and used local session players to studio record the song durring a 6 week period. The track consists of 8 separate tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the female lead singer ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was done in the United States as a result of Mark wanted the very best outcome and quality. The music ready to be listened to and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The main aim of recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day website as we are able to and then we hope in-turn they will be kind enough to donate to 1 or every one of the Phuket charities, and to also download the track.
The other absolute goal is to get enough downloads of the track to help fund and create a Phuket live music pub with open stage and recording studio / teaching room on Phuket, that will present free classes and tuition to local underprivileged children from the neighborhood schools and children’s orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ is not open yet but the internet site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day site to advertise his music Tsunami Day which was influenced from his own particular experiences while he was living in Patong in 2004 when the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there’s numerous ways to simply help including a Phuket Resort and cheap flight booking to Phuket booking system. Every dime helps.
Credits: Mark would like to thank his sponsors: Michael Dietvorst (CEO of Oriental Living), Stuart Baker (GM of Food Hygiene Asia), Alan Cooke ( MBE ), Adam Goodman (GM of Two Chefs Restaurants) and Cassius Rolfe-Johnson (CEO of Phuket Home Services).
